How do we process the personal data of our clients?

Purposes and regulation of data processing 

We process the personal data of our clients because:

  1. it is necessary for the conclusion and proper performance of the agreement for the education of a child using the Internet Educational Platform; the basis for the data processing described in this point is Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. b) GDPR;
  2. it is required by generally applicable law, in particular art. 74 of the Accounting Act, which provides for the obligation to keep accounting records; the basis for the data processing described in this point is art 6 sec. 1 (c) GDPR;
  3. it is necessary for our legitimate interests, such as ensuring the possibility of pursuing or defending against claims raised by our clients, improving the organization work, constantly adjusting our services to the needs of clients, informing clients and other interested persons about the services provided and keeping statistics on our activities; the basis for the data processing described in this point is Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

Recipients of personal data

Effective and efficient provision of our services and ensuring the possibility of pursuing our legitimate interests sometimes requires using the services of external entities, which, helping us, may gain access to the personal data of our clients. In such situations, we agree with a third party for entrusting the processing of personal data, in which we set the rules of processing as well as security and data protection mechanisms to maintain our standards in the field of personal data protection, confidentiality, and security. We enforce our contractors to comply with these rules. On the above principles, we entrust the personal data of our clients to the following categories of recipients: entities providing IT, accounting, marketing, and hosting services, as well as cloud computing and e mail services. 

Data transfer to countries outside the European Economic Area

The provisions of the GDPR allow the use of the services of entities processing personal data operating outside the European Economic Area if certain criteria are met, such as, inter alia, the determination by the European Commission by way of a decision that a third country ensures an adequate level of protection, as well as ensuring that the third country will comply with the standard clauses on the protection of personal data adopted by the European Commission. In cases where we use the services of entities based outside the European Economic Area, we make sure that such processing ensures the safety of our clients and meets the requirements resulting from the provisions of the GDPR.

    2. the data was processed only based on your consent, which has been withdrawn by you, and we have no other basis for the processing of your data,
    3. you have objected to the processing of your data based on our legitimate interest in a situation where our basis for processing does not override your rights, freedoms, and interests; however, you cannot request the deletion of this data if we need it to establish, assert or defend claims,
    4. you have objected to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes,
    5. the data was processed unlawfully,
    6. data must be deleted to comply with our legal obligation provided for in European Union law,
    7. you are a person under the age of eighteen and we processed your data based on your or your legal representative's consent.

  • The right to request the restriction of the processing of your data in the following cases:
    1. Your data has been entered incorrectly in your opinion - the restriction of processing will continue for a period that allows us to verify the correctness of this data.
    2. the data was processed unlawfully, but you oppose their removal from our database, requesting instead to limit their processing.
    3. we no longer need the data, but it is useful for you to establish, assert or defend claims.
    4. you have objected to the processing of your data based on our legitimate interest - the restriction of processing will last for a period that allows us to determine whether our legitimate grounds override the grounds of your objection,

We explain that during the period of limiting the processing of your data, we can only store it; other activities of processing your data will require your consent unless these activities are used to establish, assert or defend claims, protect the rights of another natural or legal person, or take them due to important reasons of public interest of the European Union or its Member State;
